My name is Amy, and I am a self-proclaimed flexitarian.
I tried veganism, and while I love so many vegan dishes, I found it very difficult to cut dairy and seafood out of my diet completely.
Vegetarianism suited me better because it allowed me to eat the occasional order of cheese ravioli or piece of cheesecake. Still, I couldn’t give up fish and the occasional piece of bacon on a lazy Sunday morning.
Though my diet consists mostly of vegan foods (about 90 percent), I also, on occasion, eat animal products. And to me eating ethically means more than not eating animal products, it also means choosing foods that are environmentally sustainable and local.
This is the aim of the sexy flexitarian: to eat a varied, flavourful, and ethical diet. Eat flexy, feel sexy!
